I am a little behind in my posts but here is my new solar panel. This is a one hundred and twenty watt panel that will be added into my system to give me a total of two hundred and forty watts.

I picked this panel up off of Ebay because of the price. I was worried it would be damaged during shipping but it arrived fully intact!

This panel is making about three to five amps in direct sunlight and is running at 12 volts.

Check out the video to get more insite into my new panel.

I finally got around to building a frame for my solar panel. I did some checking of the roof pitch and the angle is 22 degrees, I need it sitting at 45 degrees. This will get the best sun in the winter and summer. The best angle for my area is 30 deg in the summer and 60 deg in the winter. Once I get an adjustable frame I will be able to move the panels to the proper angle during each season.

Check out the video to get more insite into my frame.

One of these days people may realize they live in Canada and we do get snow! So people get your snow tires on before it starts snowing and you will not get stuck in the middle of the road.

I was down to New York City on a work trip and was able to wander down 5th Ave. The Christmas tree was up in Rockefeller Center and people were out skating. The Rockefeller tower was amazingly tall I have some video looking up at it with the Christmas tree in the foreground. I am always amazed with the number of people in this city, everywhere you go there are masses of people.

We have been looking at trailers for quite a while and finally decided to buy one. Our new trailer is a 2008 Palomino real lite with a furnace, fridge, and electric water pump in it.

CRC RV had a bunch of trailers setup at Mic Mac Mall one weekend so we decided to take a look. This is where we wandered through many different trailers to see what we wanted in one. This particular popup caught our eye because of the shape it was in and the price!

The guys at CRC in Truro were great with the after sales support. I arrived in Truro to pick up the trailer and they went through a complete training session on how to setup and use everything.

Thanksgiving weekend was our first trip out with the trailer at Graves Island Provincial Park.

The video shows how quick it was to set up of the trailer once we arrived on site.
